Funding Navigator

Further to the development of the website, work is progressing on a specific web system for anyone looking for equipment and possible funding sources. To date work has included a Social Work student who conducted initial research and a mapping exercise in 2007; plus the successful application for the funding for a project to produce a consultant document for the website development. This document will then be used to seek further funding for consultants to actually build the database.

For the first time it is hoped there will be a single online site that allows people to search for funding options to support their access to the aids and equipment required for daily living. Currently access and awareness of funding options is hit and miss and this website will provide all the information and options in the one place.
